Just a student trying to find their place in the world

Who I Am

A Little About Me

I have been creating art my entire life and always thought I would do something creative when I grew up. In school, I found myself to be academically gifted and was nudged towards technical STEM careers. At some point, I decided I would study chemical engineering on the pre-medicine track, with the idea that I would become a physician someday, but no actual passion for the field. After my first semester majoring in engineering, I realized that I was going down a path that I would not be happy with. I reevaluated, and realized I needed a career that would allow me to think creatively while incorporating technical math and science skills, and have since decided to pursue architecture. I will be starting the coursework to receive a Masters of Architecture this upcoming fall. In my free time, I’ve been able to express myself creatively by drawing, painting, and embroidering.

Interesting Factoid

My favorite fruit is mango, but I'm also mildly allergic to mangos
