Sebastian Clayton is from Dublin and got sucked up into the internet in 1995 working with iMusic in Seattle creating and producing webcasts from Dublin nightclubs, and winning awards for both design, implementation and management of key online events and communities.
In 1997 working with, the newly launched MSN, directing and producing the U2 PopMart website, the first touring website of it's kind, including 3 live webcasts. Later that year he produced, directed and built the biggest webcast of it's kind for a Smashing Pumpkins concert in Dublin. The event was so successful Compuserve and AOL crashed with traffic overload, and only Bill Clinton had a larger audience for a number of years after.
He then founded Digital:CC (Dublin) in 1998 to create, produce and manage multiple websites for multiple companies and bands and went on to win numerous awards, global accounts and a sort after team of designers and programmers.
Sebastian left Digital:CC in 2005 and went straight to working with Major League Baseball (MLB) in the US to create bobmarey.com. He managed and ran the MLB digital team of 50 people to make Bob Marley a successful fan club service for a year. After that he left and the site stop being a success and was shut as a paid for service.
Key clients over the past 20 years include U2, Bob Marley, Rolling Stones, Interscope Records, Eminem, Universal Music, Paramount Pictures, National Geographic, Best Buy, City Group, Sony Playstation, Palm Pictures, Island Records, Blue Mountain Music and The National Magazine Company.
Since then I have always continued to work with U2 along with other projects including Tonic, Brown Punk, SupaJam, SupaJam Education in Music and Media, Qusiq, Disciple Media and Project Zero.
