A Little About Me
Personally: I am a loving father of 3 young women (ages 27, 20 and 18) , and husband to my wife Erika who is the love of my life, my partner and my soulmate. Professionally: After 25 years in business I’ve become a coach/advisor for nonprofit and tech start-up executives and love partnering with amazing leaders to help them build great organizations and drive change.
I specialize in helping organizations at the growth stage when founders and teams begin to experience new challenges such as scaling their leadership skills, teams, processes, technology, and business model. This growth stage often occurs when an organization has received new capital.
As a former Tech CEO (Ask Jeeves, Dictionary.com, Goodshop.com), I understand that the CEO job can be lonely and regularly act as a sounding board for key decisions. I add value to growing nonprofits, start ups and social good enterprises via support in leadership/team development, hiring, strategy, marketing, revenue generation, business model, delivering results, product/program and more.
I have an MBA from Harvard and also have significant nonprofit (Juma Ventures National Board Chair, HBS Community Partners Pro bono consulting, Advisor to nonprofit tech startups, webinar leader with Foundations) and accelerator experience (Camelback Ventures, REDF, Gratitude Network, Mentor at Fast Forward).
I have 5 sisters, 3 daughters and a female cat.
