I was born and raised in San Mateo California and attended Hillsdale Highschool. After graduating I attended UCSD where I spent four years playing basketball and getting my degree in sunny La Jolla. After school I traveled for a couple of years and lived in Denmark and Australia before coming back to the Bay Area in 2009. When I returned to the Bay Area I spent a couple years selling TV and digital advertising before making my career switch into the HR space and finding my true passion thinking about how I could affect the future of work. I found my calling in setting up first an accelerator program called PeopleTech partners which focuses on bringing technologies companies that are building solutions in the worklplace, healthcare, and financial tech space to get a chance to meet early with their end buyers for a lot of feedback, product expansion, and early customer opportunities. I have been lucky to work with some of the best HR leaders in the world as partners as well as very innovative companies helping employees with their mental health, new parent support, career advancement opportunities, helping vets get jobs, employee engagement and so much more. In 2018 I started a Venture capital firm called SemperVirens and am excited by the ecosystem approach that we are building to Venture.
