Born and raised in San Diego, California. I currently attend Steele Canyon and am in my last year graduating soon. For the future I am pursuing a degree in biology and will go down the pre-med path. After being hospitalized a few times this past summer for a migraine variant and POTs I now understand the how difficult chronic illnesses can be. Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia syndrome causes causing fatigue, dizziness, brain fog, etc. due to a raised heart rate above 30 bpm upon movement. The migraine variant I have is responsible for my right side going numb. It took away my independence and ability to care for myself for a while. Luckily through having an amazing doctor I have been able to reclaim my life, and also through making accommodations constantly for myself. Hence, I want to make it so that others can have the same experience as myself and have a medical profession who is willing to listen and help in all ways possible. Am looking to widen my horizons and learn from the world around me.
