Santa Clara University

Orientation Leader

One of 30 students chosen to serve as a mentor throughout July to the incoming first-year students, estimating around 1,300 students. Initially underwent a 3 month preparatory class and a month of training involving networking with faculty, alumni and students to prepare to serve as an ambassador for Santa Clara University. Was responsible for providing a safe, comforting and exciting transition to college for both parents and students by giving advice, leading campus tours and activities.

Communication Intern

As a summer intern, I was responsible for helping build and strategize the initial online media presence of the brand on Chinese media platforms, including WeChat. I also handled communication with producers in Chinese to ship the earring-holders and bags through customs from China to the U.S to be sold on Amazon.

Social Committee Chair

Developed valuable networking and leadership skills over the six week pledge process and executed a panel of 3 local businesswoman as part of the professional committee. Now elected as the chapter’s new social chair, I plan 2 events per quarter by delegating tasks to a committee of 15 people and efficiently managing a committee budget.
