Who I Am

A Little About Me

I would love to put a normal bio where I talk about where I was born and raised and how my grandmother taught me the best southern banana pudding recipe, but my story is a bit different than that. When I was fifteen, I was your normal teenager who cared a little too much about her grades and had her whole life planned out. That all completely backfired when I became hospitalized with a slur of incurable illnesses. Although my diagnosis put a halt on my life for a period of time, I now strive to manage my struggles whilst living life to the fullest. I am a straight A student despite it all and strive to go into child life and art therapy as a profession, mostly because my art therapist helped me get through the toughest times. I want to be able to help others the way child life specialists helped me.

Interesting Factoid

I own my own business (@gumloggiftco on instagram) that spreads the word of God while providing advise to those who are chronically and mentally ill.

Volunteer Experience

Along with helping Love Him Love Them with their fundraisers to help orphans and homeless people, I volunteer by helping with donations for their annual Thanksgiving food bank where we strive to deliver over 3,500 meals to those in need throughout the community. We deliver meals, pray with those who receive them, and give them company on a holiday that should be spent with others.
