I was born in Berkeley, CA and raised in the hills behind it. I had a very hippie childhood, spending mornings meditating in a local ashram, eating food from all over the world, going to the Himalayan Fair, and reading books about feminism. I grew up with a love of cooking and art and building things and working with my hands, and have always been fascinated with puzzles and problem solving. Growing up, I was a competitive skier and spend weekends on the mountain in Tahoe racing and eating snow as long as it wasn't yellow.
I studied Architecture in school and have always been fascinated by structures and the internal workings of things. To pay my way through school I worked as a carpenter, getting hands-on experience and a viewport into what makes a building. This fueled my fascination with what makes things work and how many different paths there are to a finished product. My career has been driven by that curiosity and I've achieved things I never anticipated achieving.
I love getting to know people and hearing their stories and what makes them tick. I've we have shared interests, I want to talk to you about them! Never hesitate to reach out, and let's explore our mutual interests!
