Who I Am  

A Little About Me

Matthew Burger is an Entrepreneurship student at Drexel University with a passion for sports, investing, hiking, diving, and living life to the fullest. He enjoys interacting with people from all walks of life, as learning from different perspectives is very important to him. He played baseball in high school and was on a path to play division 1 until he suffered a brain injury that took over 2 years to fully heal. Today, he uses his competitiveness to gain an edge whether he is on the golf course or in the classroom.

Interesting Factoid

I've taken classes while sailing through the Caribbean. I witnessed game 5 of the 2016 World Series where the Cubs Changed the script on the series and their organization. I've gotten to see 23 hour days in Stockholm during Mid Summer. It's safe to say that I love to travel and experience things first hand. Without these experiences, I wouldn't be the person I am today.

Part of the Impact X Accelerator program at the College of Charleston, my peers and I created a business with the goal of making a profit while making a difference. An undetected leak can cost a property manager up to $1,300 per toilet per month if it isn't detected. NAMO uses AI and trained neural networks to combat this water loss in a variety of properties including hotels, apartment complexes and large commercial buildings. Our goal is to save our customers money while saving clean water!
