Who I Am

A Little About Me

I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. My parents are both from Shanghai, China, and I think that contributed a large part to who I grew to be as a person. I want more than just the Midwest life, and I've always been an ambitious character. No matter what I do, I want to be able to see my impact in the work I have done. I am also an avid fan of traveling. My favorite traveling experience thus far was my internship experience last summer (Summer 2019) in Taipei, Taiwan. I was able to learn on the job but also explore the wonders that Taiwan had to offer: eating at night markets, bargaining at straw markets, dancing the night away at clubs, buying breakfast and conversing with local street vendors, river rafting and hiking and jumping off a waterfall in Hualien, and designing and releasing a lantern at the Pi Xi railroad. I'm always eager to hear more travel recommendations.

Interesting Factoid

My role model is Mulan.
