A Little About Me
My sense of adventure, curiosity and enthusiasm for challenges that help me to grow characterize my professional & personal life. I spent 13+ years at Google developing global strategies for people, workplace & culture initiatives to help teams work at their best across functions and geographies. Being involved in the roll out and integration of the strategies has helped me to strengthen my change management, adaptive leadership and communication skills. My superpowers are seeing the big picture, making connections (that are often not seen by others) and building teams who utilize their diverse strengths as a force multiplier to tackle challenges. I thrive in fast paced, inclusive, growth environments where collaboration, failing fast and learning, and people development are prioritized.
Travel feeds my soul allowing me to learn and experience new cultures and sample local eats. I've visited 55+ countries and had the opportunity to live and work or study in 8 of them. Food plays a central part in my life and I feel that by addressing the many challenges that exist in the food system we can support people, the planet and improve quality of life for all.
After climbing Kilimanjaro, I took part in a volunteer project building an organic poultry farm on Zanzibar. Building the poultry farm was by far more physically demanding and mentally challenging than reaching the summit..
Worked 13.5 years in the Real Estate & Workplace Services (REWS) and People Operations (HR) functions to create and scale workplace environments, programs and culture enabling Google & Googlers to perform at their best.
