Who I Am

A Little About Me

My name is Julie and I'm a UX + Product Designer based in Austin, Texas. I focus on creating immersive experiences and human-centric designs to be felt in the heart and resonate within the mind. As a visual story teller; I have a passion for utilizing Agile methodologies to produce effective, high-quality, and collaborative design solutions. My love of using different mediums allows me to open up worlds of new perspectives, evoking untapped emotions within the viewer. I constantly strive to learn how to walk in another's shoes, as it fosters one-of-a-kind connections. I challenge good ideas and iterate to transform them into great designs. You can find me powering through or teaching a vinyasa flow, scouring the depths of Spotify for underground techno and post-punk tracks to DJ, attempting to learn a European language on DuoLingo, or daydreaming of tiny homes...though you will never find me with the same hair color for more than a year!

Interesting Factoid

I've worked in a crime scene unit....and yes, I've used the "I see dead people" line to friends & family before. I also have my Yoga Teacher Training Certification.

I want to do a solo trip across Europe and had planned (before the pandemic) to go to London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague Budapest, and Lisbon.

Scuba Diving License

There's a whole underwater world down there that people never see!! I've never been a strong swimmer and have only taken lessons recently as an adult and want to get good enough to get my certifications.
