I'm a Bay Area native, born and raised in San Jose. I'm currently a senior at San Jose State University, majoring in economics and minoring in philosophy. In Fall 2020, I was one of three undergraduate students selected to receive funding from the university's Tower Foundation to work on an independent research project. Due to my interest in behavioral economics and public policy, I chose to study the effect of decriminalizing black market goods on rates of violent crime. I am also honored to serve as the Director of Public Relations for Women in Business at SJSU. In my spare time, I enjoy curling up with a good book, playing chess with my local club, and experimenting with French cuisine.
