I moved to America during my senior year of high school. Then, I went to Pasadena City College and transferred to California State University, Los Angeles. My academic goal is to get a bachelor’s degree in business administration with the option of accounting. My experience as the treasure of the class in my sophomore year of high school made me realized my interest in finance-related subjects. While taking an accounting class at Pasadena City College, I noticed that accounting is the best fit for financially conservative people like me and decided to get my CPA license in the future. Particularity, so many stories, and future forecasting could be told simply through going over one’s financial statements. Therefore, getting a bachelor’s degree in accounting empowers me to combine my interests and passion. Now, I am a member of the Associated Students’ Environmental Policy Committee and I volunteer at the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA), continue to contribute what I am passionate about to the community.
