I was born and raised in San Jose, California. My dream school was always San Diego State University. Unfortunately, I did not get in right after high school. I decided to go to community college at West Valley in Saratoga, California and then transferred out to San Diego State. Once I got to San Diego State, I decided to study marketing. I learned that there are so many different aspects to marketing including sales. I believe if you have not experienced the "sales" side in marketing, then you simply can not market efficiently. Once I moved out here I found an interested in being one of the founders for Women In Business. This club was very important to me as it is growing at many different campuses. Moving to San Diego was the best choice I could of done. It made me experience many different hobbies that I wouldn't have in the Bay Area. I picked up on surfing (which is still very hard) and wake surfing. I realized there is more to life than just our little Silicon Valley bubble. There is so much more to learn and see. In the end of the day, my number one goal is to learn a new skill that will benefit me.
