I have always been artistically inclined. My mom and I were always painting little projects around the house and modernizing furniture when I was younger. So, when the coronavirus pandemic hit, my mom and I wanted to bring a little joy to the world with our creativity. She was scrolling through the internet one day and saw a do-it-yourself welcome sign that was inexpensive to make and had a broad range of creative elements that could go into it. So, she asked me if I wanted to help her make one of the signs and give it away to someone in the community in order to bring a little light into the world. I said yes.
Year to date, I have a revenue of over $3,400 and a profit of $2,500. I have my own Facebook page, way of contacting customers, and creating more ways for me to bring happiness to my community.
