I was born in Iowa but was raised mainly in Michigan and Alaska. After graduating from Glacier View School (yes, our school overlooked a 20-mile glacier) in 2013, I decided I was done with the cold weather and attended a small Bible college in Hawaii. This year would prove to be life-changing since it is where I met my husband, Kea. He and I have now been married for five years. Though we have undergone both financial and health hardships (he had heart surgery in 2016), each struggle has brought us closer to one another and made us stronger. Kea now works frequently as a nurse in the COVID unit. I work at a family-owned CPAs office full-time while going to school full-time to pursue my dream to be a graphic designer. I am excited to be pursuing this goal and what life will bring next!
