Nourish International

Nourish International is a social movement run by student leaders on 60 college campuses with the goal of amplifying social impact through entrepreneurship and community-driven partnerships. The Stanford Chapter focused on increasing access to nutritional and sustainable food sources (as well as medical and health aid) for impoverished nations, primarily in Africa. Nourish International currently has 60 chapters on various college campuses. Through these chapters, Nourish has established a network of 800 students and 900 alumni.

Ravenswood Reads

Ravenswood Reads is a service-learning program in which Stanford students tutor children in Kindergarten through third grade in reading and language acquisition. Ravenswood Reads supports readers in kindergarten through third grade by pairing Stanford tutors with children to help improve their decoding and comprehension skills. Ravenswood Reads is also a service-learning program that emphasizes the importance of adequately preparing and supporting volunteers on an ongoing basis.
